The Workforce Connection jobs database allows military personnel to find careers linked to your military background by identifying transferable skills that are useful in civilian positions.
If you want to find a career based on your degree –
- When you access the Career Concourse tool, click “Find careers related to your degrees.”
- Search for your degree.
- Choose a related occupation that interests you.
- Career Concourse will provide information on the occupation, including labor market data, the job market, and employers that are hiring.
If you want to find a career based on your military background –
- When you access the Career Concourse tool, click “Find careers linked to your military background.”
- Select the branch of military in which you served.
- Select your military job title.
- Choose a related occupation that interests you.
- The Career Concourse tool will provide information on the occupation, including labor market data, the job market, and employers that are hiring.
