Arkansas is located in the central, southern region of the United States. We are also midway between Mexico City and Montreal. You can reach 40 percent of the rest of the U.S. population within a day’s drive from Arkansas. Arkansas has a temperate climate that has four distinct seasons. Our average high of 73°F and an average low of 53°F means Arkansans can spend time outdoors year-round.

Arkansas’ galleries, museums, theatres and music venues keep the artistically inclined busy. And there’s always plenty to do for artisans, history buffs and makers.
It’s possible to get anywhere within Arkansas in a day’s drive or less, so you’re never far from artistic and cultural pursuits.
